Together with everyone at Operadagen Rotterdam we created a new visual corporate identity and campaign identity to communicate everything there is to say about the festival for the next 4 years.
Operadagen Rotterdam (Opera Days Rotterdam) is a yearly festival that features 10 days of international contemporary and confronting music theatre and opera productions. The festival takes place in different theaters throughout the city but is best known for its intimate shows at unexpected locations in Rotterdam. The festival aims to inspire both public as well as professionals from around the world.
With the new campaign identity, that will be used for the next 4 years, we hope to attract attention from both the hardcore operafans that are seeking fresh ways of enjoying their favorite genre as well as a new audience of first timers.
The key visual combines a classic opera image with a modern take on that years theme.
Operadagen Rotterdam 2017 started of with a campaign image featuring Norah Fischer. One of the main acts of this years edition. This year's theme was 'the departure'.
